New York is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around New York is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across New York's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Absolutely incredible best chicken pita Iβve had in NYC. Comes with the freshest ingredients, along with tzatziki, tahini, and red sauce. And of course the free baklava piece is such a nice touch. 110% Iβm coming back here.

I have loved this restaurant since the moment my boyfriend took me here. The best hummus ever and Joe recommended the baklava which has become a craving whenever I need some extra happiness. Love my dinners here and so happy to have experienced such great hospitality from Joe.

After a long day exploring the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, and the 9/11 Memorial, we stumbled upon this gem. It exceeded every expectationβthe food was incredible, the service was attentive, and they topped it all off with a complimentary baklava. I was genuinely impressed to find such a high-quality spot in the area.

Omarβs Mediterranean Cuisine is truly a hidden gem in the city. The food is fresh, flavorful, and cooked with real Mediterranean taste. Every dish feels homemade and full of quality ingredients. What really stands out is the generous hospitality β warm, welcoming, and attentive service that makes you feel at home. Portions are satisfying, prices are fair, and the overall vibe is relaxed and friendly. A must-visit spot if you enjoy great food served with heart.

This was a fantastic find! Tried the signature dish with the eggplant salad and the smoothest hummus I've ever had. Also tried the chicken noodle soup which was excellent with lots of veggies. All was served with fresh, gorgeous pitas. The customers were a mix of locals enamored with the cuisine and visitors experiencing its glory for the first time. The cherry on top was the baklava at the end.ππΌππΌππΌππΌππΌ
